Idea and Concept 3

Pheewwwww......after the discussion with lecturer at least i get some new and fresh idea on how to find the idea anc concept...eventhough my first consultation is being rejected...i repeat...REJECTED but thats not the end of the world..so i went to the second consultation wishing for my best luck and hope that this time i can settle the ideation part and go on to the other part.

Luckily, for the research, the topic that been accepted is "Applying/using Silat Melayu technique in action scene for Video" which is already been agreed on my first consultation after all those 5 topics are rejected.

As for the Idea parts, i came up with the 2 new ideas :.

1) Commercial Video for advertising. The product is maggie

- establishing shot..the place and location...leaves fly.
- scene inside a warong. People eating. Close up to an old man
- suddenly comes a group of gangsters and want to catch the old man
- the old man stay calm and finished his meal quickly
- the old man then leave the money on the table and jump out tru window
- the group then circled the old man and a few dialogue accur
- the situation getting hot and the gansgter attact the old man
- suddenly a young man come out try to help the old man but being hit badly.
- the the fight between the old man and the gansters continue
- the old man manage to win the fight and leave the warong
- the young man get up and follow the old man. he want to learnd from the old man.
- the old mand agree and bring the young man to his place
- the scene continue show the young man training
- after a few months
- the scene of the young man being tested by the old man and he passed all the test.
- young man ask for the secret skills that tok guru used when defeated the enemy
- the old man stay quiet and after being pushed by the young man, the old man talk
- the old man bring the young man to the warong they met before
- the old man eat the same thing he ate last time (MAGGIE)
- then only the young man know and his face is really annoying face.

Comments from lecturer :
* this is not university level of thinking
* this is not really work for the advertisement and also for the silat
* this is not worth to be present for FYP
* etc...


2) Hari raya advertisement

- Establishing shot of rumah kampung and the scenery
- Showing the grandma watching tv alone at night
- then close up the tv showing the annoucement of Hari Raya
- the grandma not excited at all and she is in sad mood
- then the camera will show the conditon of the house. no preparation at all
- suddenly the sound of car's honk appeared
- the grandma look at the window and happy to see her only grandson
- then a few dialogue accured but since it is late, they go to bed after a few minutes
- at the morning grandma wake the grandson up to help her preparing for Hari Raya
- the grandson then fell asleep again while the grandma go to market
- when the grandma back...she become angry because nothing had been done
- the grandson quickly wake up and do the preparation
- the grandson using his silat technique to prepare, to clean up and to simplified the work
- at the end the preparation is finish by night.
- they celebrate Hari Raya happily

YEAAAYYY...finally....my idea had been approved by the lecturer and thats mean i can continue to the next part. so basically, the video will base on this Hari Raya idea and it just need to be improve.
