The Story

ok.....the idea has approved. so here is the story....i will make a video for Hari Raya. The video will be between 1 minutes and 45 seconds to 2 minutes 30 seconds. The story will be base on one question. The question is " Can we do the Hari Raya preparation just a day before Hari Raya? ".
In normal way, it is impossible because there are a lot of thing to do and to prepare. But in this story, that thing is possible because all the works is fasten by using the Silat Melayu techniques.

Introduction :

The introduction of this story will be a normal sad mood for Hari Raya video, the sound is a very slow pace Hari Raya song and the color might be sephia or black and white or a very dull color. This introduction will look like a petronas kind of Hari Raya advertisement.This introduction is meant to make the audiences think that this advertisement is the normal Petronas advertisement for Hari Raya. It is just a twist for the whole video.


The Body :

After a 20-30 seconds introduction that is so dull in color and so the music pace is so slow, this is the part where this advertisement reveal its own characterisctic. From the start of this middle part, the color will be bright, the mood will be happy, and the music pace will be faster and catchy music will be selected to be as a background music for the whole middle part. This part will be a part where the grandson start to help his grandma to clean the house using his silat technique, to rearrange the hall and to make the house look better for Hari Raya. After cleaning and rearranging the hall, the grandson have to help the grandma to search buluh for making lemang and he also have to help his grandma to cook the ketupat and also the lemang. The silat technique will be use in this video will be combine physically and mentally. There will be some exegerate in those Silat Melayu technique used by the grandson. This part will take 1 minutes - 1 minutes and 30 seconds.


Ending :

As for now there are three options for the ending. the option that i hava are :

1) at the end, the grandson have a problem to settle one thing and he cannot do it and suddenly the grandma come and the grandma reveal herself that actually she also can do silat and more advance compare to her grandson but she just dont want to do preparation because her grandson is not coming and she dont have any feeling to celebrate Hari Raya.

2) the second option that i can do is just a simple ending for the video and no more twist in this ending. I will just show that the house already prepared nicely for Hari Raya. The ending scene will show that the grandson and grandma having a cup of coffee at the night and celebrate Hari Raya as usual the next day

3) the third option is i can put a scene that actually will conclude everything shown earlier and will have the message that silat is good and silat is not only for fighting and silat is not cruel. but this is only the option and i still can improve this idea.


As for now the ending that i think i'm going to do is the first one where there is a second twist and the ending to show that the grandma also a good Silat Melayu follower and she is actually still in good health but just dont have any feeling to celebrate Hari Raya alone.
